Hey all!

Starting off my new blog with my crochet mini loaf kitty pattern!

I often take this one with me to vendor events and people absolutely love them. 

Items needed:
- 4 mm hook
- Size 4 yarn (bernat, redheart, mainstays)
Colors needed - pink for nose, white or black for whiskers, color for body of cat
- 4mm safety eyes & backings
- Pillow fluff
- Either row counter clips or a contrasting piece of yarn to count rows

 Stitches:
Sc - single crochet
Mr - magic ring
Sl st - slip stitch
Fo - fasten off
Inc - increase
Dec - decrease
Blo - back loop only

 Invisible decreases will shrink the holes in the back end.

Pattern:
Rnd 1: 6 SC in MR. (6)
Rnd 2: 6 inc. (12)
Rnd 3: Inc. Sc. (18)
Rnd 4: Sc. Inc. {2sc. 1 inc.} Sc. (24)

Insert one safety eye into about 3rd stitch from last stitch between round 2& 3 Insert second one about 4 stitches away between row 2&3.
Embroider a t between the eyes .
Embroider a v beside each eye.
Make sure face is satisfactory before moving on.

Rnd 5: In BLO, sc in each stitch (24)
Rnd 6-12: Sc in each st. (24)
Rnd 13: In BLO, sc. Dec. {2 sc. Dec.} Sc. (18)
Rnd 14: Dec. Sc. (12)

Add fluff.

Rnd 15: dec. (6)
FO. Sew closed.

 Ears - Insert hook around the stitch one stitch above the v for the whiskers. Pull yarn through making a loose ish magic ring.

Ch 1. Sc in the mr. Dc. Ch 1. Dc. Sc. FO.

Knot the loose end and fastened off end together. Sew into body to hide.

Make second ear approx. 2- 3 stitches apart. both just above whiskers.

Tail - find the middle of the kitty on the back end. I sert hook, pull yarn through. Ch. 10. Sl st. 9 Coming back down the tail. Sl st. in st. beside where tail started. FO.

Tie ends together and sew ends into the body.
